To honor Veterans' Day, AMS invited veterans from our community to speak to our students. We are proud of our veterans. We are especially proud of our staff that are veterans: Mrs. Lorraine Morrell, Mr. Ellis Terry, Mrs. Cathy Stout, and Officer Charles Miller.
To remember 9/11, AMS invited police, firefighters, EMTs, and other emergency responders to have lunch on us and visit with the students. Students also wrote poems and stories about how proud they are to be Americans and the appreciation we have for those who serve others. Here students are with Georgia State Troopers.
