Mrs. Elaine Catanzano, better known in Armuchee as "Mrs. Cat," is the registrar for AMS. She is a graduate of Rockmart High School and the University of West Georgia.
Mrs. Cat has worked at AMS for eleven years. She advises students to “be true to yourself and laugh… a lot!”
As a student, Jimmy McDonald was a teacher who “always took the time to listen to anything we had to say and made everything we did seem important.” “He later became my varsity basketball coach but passed away my senior year from cancer. He was such an inspiration to me because he never gave up and always encouraged me even when I doubted myself.”
Mrs. Cat enjoys gardening and watching her kids play basketball and baseball.
Mrs. Cat states, “Before I even knew my husband’s name, I saw him playing ball, came home, and told my mom that I found the man I was going to marry. We have been married 23 years this year.”
Mrs. Julie Chambers
Administrative Secretary

Mrs. Julia Chambers is an administrative secretary at AMS. She is a graduate of Virgil I. Grissom High School in Huntsville, Alabama. She graduated college from Berry College.
Mrs. Chambers has been working at AMS for six years. Her high school English teacher, Sara Erwin, had a positive impact on her life.
Mrs. Chamber advises students to “Read a good book, then read some more.
When she is not working at AMS, Mrs. Chambers enjoys reading and acting. Her favorite author is Tom Clancy.
Mr. Charles Miller
School Resource Officer

Officer Charles Miller is the school resource officer for AMS.
Officer Miller has been a police officer with the Floyd County Department of Police for eleven years.
Officer Miller's advice to students: "Work hard in school, as the most powerful thing in the world is knowledge."

Mrs. Jennifer Smith
Secretary

Mrs. Jennifer Smith is a secretary at AMS. She is a graduate of Parkview High School in Lilburn, Georgia. She graduated from Berry College and attended Georgia Perimeter College in Decatur, Georgia.
Mrs. Smith has been working at AMS for three years. She advises students to “Work hard and be nice.”
Mrs. Smith enjoys spending time with her family, watching her son play baseball, supporting the Rome Braves and reading a good book at the beach.
